Brand new threads have just arrived in the store at Berrima Patchwork - one of these new collections is the Razzle Dazzle Threads designed by Ricky Tims for Superior Threads. These threads are a 8wt and are ideal of bobbin work, couching and serger. Razzle Dazzel is a heavier embellishment thread that is made of polyester and metallic and have a fantastic shine and shimmer. They are soft and pliable which allow the thread to move with the fabric.
If you use the thread in your bobbin - wind it slowly onto the bobbin and loosen your bobbin tension (if you have a Bernina this is easy - if you have a drop in bobbin you will fine this difficult). I then just use a top thread that will blend with the Razzle Dazzle thread you have chosen - Bottom Line by Superior threads is a good top thread to use and they come in a range of colours. This thread cannot be used as a top thread.
The Threads come in a 110yd except for the colour Icicles which is 88yds. All the spools are $10.50.
