Quilting in the Highlands Workshop with Sue Dennis
Australia’s National gemstone, the opal, captures the imagination with mysterious depths of colour. This is your chance to make a small quilt featuring this colourful stone which has been used by Sue in a number of her award winning quilts. “OPALS” was featured in Australian Patchwork & Quilting magazine Vol 13 No 5. Using oil sticks, angelina fibres and appliqué you will be guided in the creation of your unique gemstones. Students choose 1 of 2 designs supplied by the Sue.
WORKSHOP FEE INCLUDES: 2 Days Tuition, lunch, morning tea, tea and coffee for both days, 1 evening meal on the Monday night. Goodies Bag upon arrival. Opportunity to win prizes from our giveaway sponsors - total prizes giveaways worth over $6000.
Payment Options:
- Full Payment of Workshop at time of Booking
- 50% deposit of Workshop at time of Booking with remainder due prior to 25th March 2012
- Initial Payment of $100 at time of Booking (per workshop) with 2nd payment $100 due prior to 25th January and remainder due prior to 25th March 2012
