Been fearful in quilting your own quilts, have a pile of unfinished quilts because you are not too sure how to quilt them, bored with just quilting in the ditch, want some new ideas and skills in machine quilting then this is the course for you. This is a 2 stage course. In Stage one you will look at all aspects of machine quilting to get you started quilting your own quilts. You will look at various tools, wadding, backing fabrics and techniques used in machine quilting. Stage two is a full day of free motion quilting. It gives you experience with the darning foot. You will learn lots of design ideas to add texture to your quilting. Quilting designs, drawing with the needle, swirls, shadow quilting, continuous curves, will be shown. This is an intensive two full days workshop.
