It is with great excitement that we are happy to announce that Sue Ross will be joining our teaching team at Berrima Patchwork. Sue is a well known quilters from the Southern Highlands and loves to experiment with colour and texture within her designs. Her quilts range from machine, hand pieced, English paper piecing, foundation piecing, feature fussy cutting and many other techniques. Her workshops encourage students to look at colour, push the boundaries and to create quilts in a different way. Sue's patterns have appeared in numerous magazines both within Australia and Internationally.

In this workshop you have the choice of one of the following three quilts (pictured above) you wish to work on.

Circle of Fun (pictured above left)
This quilt features foundation pieced circles which can be machine or hand pieced. It is a great way to use up all those scraps and to mix a wide selection of fabrics.

Twisted Garden (pictured above middle)
This quilt is machine pieced and features pieced stars in the corner. Sue will guide students through using colour to create the woven look of this quilt.

Whirly Gig (pictured above right)
This quilt can be machine or hand pieced. The pieces are cut from templates and then sewn. Either make a feature of the fabrics or Sue has a large library of English paper piecing and applique designs that can be used to embellish this beautiful quilt to create a unique piece. (There is an additional cost for the templates for this workshop)

2 Day Workshop
